Position Summary We’re seeking entry‑level, full‑time online sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire staff to deliver excellent customer service on both lending and retail sides. Working with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more, the role involves greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and related transactions.
Responsibilities
Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and display merchandise.
Process sales and loan transactions per company policies and regulatory requirements.
Handle cash and negotiable items per established procedures.
Answer incoming calls per company standards.
Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and effective communication.
Create a positive, memorable customer experience.
Successfully complete assigned training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
Will be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
Minimum age 18 years.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, work in a team.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient basic math calculations.
Cash‑handling experience preferred.
Willingness to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
