Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate
Salary: $15.25 to $18.00 per hour. Commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Full-time position.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. This role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive, professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates with coworkers and managers using effective communication.
Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Successfully completes the assigned training.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
Minimum age: 18 years old.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Flexible to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
Ability to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate, able to operate POS and common office machines.
