Position Summary Entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associate in pawn store locations nationwide. Partners with the entire store staff to deliver outstanding customer service on both lending and retail sides. Engages customers, processes sales and loan transactions, and manages merchandise across a variety of categories including jewelry, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
Responsibilities
Greet and interact with all customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and properly display merchandise.
Handle sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulations.
Handle cash and negotiable items per established procedures.
Answer incoming calls in line with company standards.
Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
Complete required training successfully.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
Must be able to assist customers and retrieve products outside the building as needed.
Minimum age: 18 years.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
Excellent multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work at multiple locations based on business needs.
Flexible retail schedule, including ability to work weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.
Commission Plan Commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on personal performance. Specific details will be provided during the interview process.
