Job Compensation $14.00 to $18.00 per hour

Commission Structure:

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with staff to ensure customer service on lending and retail sides, greets, engages, and interacts with customers, processes sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves a wide variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.

Performs non‑management open/close procedures.

Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.

Performs sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, and regulations.

Handles cash and negotiable items per policies.

Answers incoming calls per company standards.

Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.

Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.

Completes assigned training.

Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).

Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.

May assist customers on exterior of building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum age 18 years.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Basic math calculation proficiency.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work multiple locations and flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.

Commission Plan Information: Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details provided during interview.
