Compensation & Hours $12.95 to $15.95 per hour. Easily achievable commission structure pays you for every transaction processed. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $3.05 per hour on top of hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. They greet, engage, and process sales, loans, and other transactions, working with jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms, etc. The role offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend solutions.

Perform non‑management open/close procedures.

Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.

Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.

Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.

Answer incoming calls per company standards.

Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.

Partner with employees to create a positive customer experience.

Successfully complete assigned training.

Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum age 18 years.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.

Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.

Basic math calculation proficiency.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work at multiple locations and flexible retail schedule (weekends, holidays).

Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines.

Commission Plan Information Employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.

Additional Information Pay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements. Maximum base pay derived from applicant’s experience and skills. The company requires employees to agree to a binding arbitration agreement.
