Full-Time Retail Sales Associate We are seeking an entry-level, full-time sales associate to join our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Status and Compensation

Pay range: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour. Commission structure pays for each transaction; associates can earn commission above the hourly rate as part of performance-based pay. The Information below describes the commission plan details as provided during the interview process. Perks and Benefits

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage and commission based on productivity. The actual pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items according to policies and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training and other related duties as needed. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, in compliance with law. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers outdoors or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience is preferred. Should be able to work at multiple locations as needed. Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance.
