Salary: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.01 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate works with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Compensation varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Performs non‑management open/close procedures.

Maintains clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.

Processes sales and loan transactions according to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies.

Answers incoming calls per company standards.

Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.

Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Completes the assigned training.

Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.

May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum age: 18 years.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficient basic math calculations.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.

Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
