Medicare Sales Agent – Dublin, OH UnitedHealthcare is seeking dedicated sales professionals to serve as Medicare Sales Agents in Dublin, OH. In this inbound call role, you will consult customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits. You will receive a competitive base salary, bonuses based on sales performance, and the support to obtain state insurance licenses during training.

Work Schedule

Operating hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM local time; shift determined during training with rotating weekend work.

Full‑time position with flexibility desired based on business seasonality.

Work Location

Initial onsite training program, 6–10 weeks, on standard day shift.

Hybrid work models after training and job‑nesting period; work from home up to 3 business days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members to convert callers to qualified leads and sales.

Follow up with members on questions or to review current or new products and services.

Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement.

Demonstrate product portfolio knowledge by addressing member needs, explaining differences between products, and assisting selection of the best fit.

Assist in completing enrollment applications over the phone, ensuring compliance with product requirements and enrollment guidelines.

Meet performance, attendance, and consumer experience goals established for the position.

Maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay + monthly sales incentive; on average $50,000‑$65,000 annually, with top performers earning $80,000 or more.

Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 for licensed or $2,000 for unlicensed applicants.

Paid time off: 15 days accrued in the first year plus 8 paid holidays.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma/GED (or higher) or 4+ years of customer service/sales experience.

Obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses within 30 days (training may include license completion).

Work regular scheduled shifts, including training; flexibility for overtime, weekends, and daily schedule adjustments.

Live within commuting distance of 5900 Parkwood Place, Dublin, OH office.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous sales experience.

Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications; ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.

Flexibility to customize approach for various caller communication styles and personalities.
