Shift Requirement:
Monday to Friday 8-5 PST Role Summary
The
Trade Compliance Analyst
is responsible for the
day-to-day execution of import and export compliance activities . This is a
high-volume role
that requires
extreme attention to detail
and the ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment .
This position will be responsible for:
Classifying goods Screening partners against sanctions lists Filing required information with regulatory authorities
to ensure shipments move
without delay
and remain in full legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1) Classification
Perform
HTS
and
ECCN
determinations for parts and technology Use provided
technical specifications
and
engineering data
to accurately classify goods
2) Regulatory Filings
Prepare and submit required information to customs and regulatory authorities Support compliance through filings such as
AES/EEI Ensure all submissions meet
legal and regulatory requirements
3) Sanctions Screening
Conduct
restricted-party screening
on companies and individuals Ensure compliance with
global trade sanctions
and
embargoes
4) Shipment Coordination
Resolve
customs-related issues
and respond to inquiries from brokers Help prevent
shipment holds ,
delays , or other clearance issues
5) Documentation Management
Collect and verify key shipping and trade documents from global suppliers, including:
Commercial invoices Packing lists HAWBs
Ensure documentation is
accurate ,
complete , and compliant
6) Data Maintenance
Maintain accurate
trade master data
in ERP systems and internal databases, including:
Values Origins Part numbers
7) Audit & Records
Organize and maintain
digital records
for all import/export activities Ensure documentation remains
audit-ready at all times
