Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours per week.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician I to join our team at Emplify Health. The ideal candidate will assist optometrists in providing high-quality patient care, performing various diagnostic tests, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
No vision or eye experience needed. All training for this role will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in patient examinations and procedures.
Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity, tonometry, and other diagnostic assessments.
Maintain and prepare examination rooms and equipment.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Educate patients on eye care and post-operative instructions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
What You Will Do
Work 40 hours each week.
Monday - Friday, Days.
No weekends or holidays.
Location: La Crosse.
Opportunities to assist at all Emplify optometry locations including Viroqua, Onalaska, Tomah, Waukon, Decorah, Prairie du Chien, Black River Falls, Whitehall, Winona, Wabasha, Sparta, Hillsboro, and Friendship.

2 years of patient/customer service experience.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certified by JCAHPO within 18 months of hire.
