We are actively seeking an
Estimator
to join a growing and reputable general contractor with a strong pipeline of
ground-up commercial and multifamily projects . This opportunity is ideal for candidates at various experience levels, with a preference for
mid-level professionals (5-10 years of experience) .
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up commercial and/or multifamily projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor pricing
Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and bid proposals
Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
Qualifications
Ideally 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor
Proven experience with ground-up commercial or multifamily construction (required)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software
Excellent communication and organizational skills
