Customer Service Representative - Logistics
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our logistics operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate shipment information, and resolution of issues throughout the supply chain process.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and portal regarding shipments, pricing, and service issues
Track shipments and proactively communicate delays, changes, or exceptions
Resolve service issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer data in transportation management systems (TMS)
Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and warehouse teams to meet customer expectations
Document customer interactions and follow established service procedures
Support account management and retention efforts through exceptional service
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)
1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/TMS systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of freight forwarding, trucking, or warehouse operations
Experience handling time-sensitive or high-volume accounts
Bilingual abilities a plus
