Our client is seeking a data-driven

Google Ads Specialist

(Associate) to manage and optimize paid search campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube. This role focuses on lead generation and pipeline growth within a SaaS environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and experienced in managing multi-channel paid search programs at scale.

San Jose, CA (Local candidates within a reasonable commuting distance only)

Requirements:

Oversee budgets, pacing, and spend allocation across paid search channels. Analyze search term data, performance trends, and recommend optimizations to improve CPL, CPA, and pipeline contribution. Stay current on Google Ads updates, betas, and search marketing best practices. Manage day-to-day execution of Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube) Build and optimize campaigns, ad groups, keyword lists, negative keywords, bidding strategies, and ad copy. Monitor performance and identify trends using platform data, GA4, Salesforce, and Tableau. Support paid media managers with campaign setup, maintenance, reporting, and performance enhancements. Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in San Jose, CA. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign data. Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation. Experience with landing page optimization, ad copywriting, and A/B testing. Proficiency with Google Ads Editor for bulk edits and scaled account operations. Experience with keyword research, negative keyword strategies, and bidding optimization. Ability to manage mid-to-large paid search budgets and adjust pacing based on performance. Experience tying paid search performance to downstream metrics such as MQLs, SQLs, opportunities, and pipeline value. Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and traffic quality evaluation. Experience running structured A/B tests and presenting results with clear before/after performance impact. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities. 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube) All education levels considered or equivalent hands-on experience is fully acceptable. Preferred Skills:

Google Ads or GA4 certifications. Experience with Microsoft/Bing Ads. Experience with Salesforce and Tableau. B2B marketing experience; SaaS strongly preferred. Experience in FinTech or financial/accounting-related industries.
