Description
$13.45 to $15.95 per hour with an easily achievable commission structure that pays up to 8% on transactions, providing additional earnings on top of the hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to provide customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, engaging with customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions in a professional manner.
Responsibilities of a Full‑Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
Performs opening and closing procedures as required.
Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items in compliance with established guidelines.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Successfully completes assigned training.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods of time.
Ability to work with firearms; firearms certification may be required.
Availability to assist customers outside the building, including parking lots and exterior storage areas.
Minimum age: 18 years old.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient with basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience is preferred.
Willingness to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed plan information is provided during the interview process.
