Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The position offers a base hourly wage plus commission potential. Pay range:

$12.95 to $15.95 per hour. Commission may add to earnings, with opportunities described in the commission plan. Position Summary

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS employees earn commission based on productivity. The successful Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate\'s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Completes assigned training successfully. Other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers outdoors or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum Age: 18 years old High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently. Cash handling experience is preferred. Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan: The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. Details provided during interview.
