Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Compensation ranges from $12.95 to $15.95 per hour, with a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $4.14 per hour on top of hourly pay. Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns hourly wages plus commissions based on productivity, with actual pay determined by location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and collaborates to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.). Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Minimum Age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to serve customers and be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math skills. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work at multiple locations as needed and on a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
