About the Opportunity
A growing in-house marketing team within the multifamily / residential community space is seeking a Marketing Project Manager / Account Manager to help lead marketing initiatives across a portfolio of apartment communities. This role sits at the intersection of account management, project management, local marketing, and field execution .
While the title may flex based on experience, this person will function much like an internal account manager, serving as a key marketing partner to community stakeholders and senior leadership. The team is looking for someone who brings both presence and personality , can think strategically, and is equally comfortable managing details, timelines, vendors, and creative execution.
This is not a one-size-fits-all marketing environment. Each community has unique needs, so the right person will know how to assess opportunities, make thoughtful recommendations, and partner with an in-house creative team to bring tailored marketing initiatives to life across print, branding, social, email, signage, and local outreach .
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key marketing contact for apartment community stakeholders, helping ensure each property is well represented from a marketing and brand perspective
Visit multifamily communities regularly to assess needs, meet with property and marketing partners, and identify opportunities for improvement
Represent marketing on internal and cross-functional calls, offering recommendations and helping shape community-level strategy
Manage marketing projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget
Partner closely with internal creative resources on a range of initiatives including print, branding, email, social media, signage, and related campaigns
Coordinate and manage outside vendors, including signage vendors and other local partners
Support local outreach efforts by building and maintaining relationships with area businesses, HR teams, administrators, and community contacts
Help develop marketing approaches that support leasing activity, local visibility, and community awareness
Keep multiple projects moving at once while maintaining strong communication, follow-through, and accountability
Ensure a high level of professionalism when working with internal leadership, field teams, and external partners
Qualifications
Experience in account management, project management, marketing coordination, or client-facing marketing roles
Background in agency, in-house marketing, real estate, multifamily, residential community, property management, or related environments
Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and moving pieces across concurrent projects
Comfortable acting as the face of marketing in meetings and conversations with senior-level internal stakeholders
Ability to think strategically, not just tactically, and tailor recommendations to each property or community
Experience working with creative teams and managing deliverables across channels such as print, email, social, branding, and signage
Strong communication skills, executive presence, and a polished client-facing style
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and budget/timeline management skills
Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment
Reliable transportation required for daytime travel across the Front Range, including areas such as Denver, Boulder, Thornton, Longmont, and surrounding communities
Preferred Background
Multifamily, residential community, real estate, or property marketing experience
Agency or account management experience
Experience coordinating vendors and field-based marketing efforts
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Work Environment
This role is highly relationship-driven and field-oriented. While there is office time, much of the work involves traveling to communities, meeting with stakeholders, walking properties, and coordinating with vendors and partners across the market.
