As the Executive Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate, you will serve as a principal advisor to the Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC), Infrastructure and Support Services (ISS), Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This role provides comprehensive technical support to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in areas such as enterprise network design, data management, engineering, and applied technology. You will be responsible for driving innovation, promoting collaboration, and ensuring secure, reliable, and resilient communication capabilities, connectivity, and data integrity to meet CBP's mission requirements. The directorate creates an integrated environment to deliver 24x7 support services to CBP personnel, other government agencies, and external partners. The directorate is also responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, management, and operational support of CBP's enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, data, and critical operational systems across all field locations, supporting over 67,000 end users. Major duties include: Providing top-level management direction in planning, implementing, and evaluating long-range enterprise infrastructure, network management, data management, and field technical support, aligning with CBP's strategic mission. Formulating strategic vision and managing daily operations to ensure 24x7 monitoring and support for CBP's operational systems and IT infrastructure, adapting to the rapidly changing CBP mission. Managing critical IT components such as the Network Operations Center, Technical Operations Center, IT Enterprise Operations Center, Data Centers, and hybrid Cloud, ensuring continuous program monitoring and management to meet CBP operational requirements cost-effectively. Leading OIT in the development, updates, and implementation of CBP-wide IT strategic plans, ensuring alignment with overarching CBP and DHS strategic objectives. Providing strategic oversight and execution of long-term IT initiatives to advance CBP's business goals and integrate cross-functional solutions.
