Account Manager - Industrial Packaging Sales

The Source Alliance, a leader in Packaging Staffing and Recruiting, is assisting our client in a search for a Full-time Account manager that resides in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. This role would cover the Pacific Northwest Territory.


POSITION SUMMARY

To maintain current accounts and develop new accounts by creatively solving or improving their packaging. These improvements & solutions must lead to increased profitable sales while providing customer service to all clients and developing a mutually beneficial relationship. Must have experience in industrial packaging business development selling into distributors. (examples Tape, Corrugate, Films, Protective Packaging, Equipment.)


Responsibilities Include

  • Promote and sell all company products. Provide quality alternatives and solutions to customers expressed wants and needs.
  • Target accounts and particular pieces of business to maximize sales using assorted software.
  • Develop and maintain customer target list.
  • Set goals with sales management using a qualified list of prospects and personal wants or needs.
  • Target additional business within existing accounts (may be part of goal setting).
  • Devise, with or without Sales Management, plan to fulfil customer needs that are within company’s products and capabilities.
  • Represent the company on sales calls in accordance with core values and culture.
  • Follow-up phone calls to clients to assure quality products and service meet their needs and expectations.
  • Offer presentations and proposals to clients and prospective clients.
  • Develop relationships throughout all levels of prospects and existing accounts.
  • Foster long term relationships with customers.
  • Handle issues that may arise such as late deliveries and poor quality.
