We’re building an early sales team and looking for an Account Executive who brings strong energy, commercial drive, and a real hunter mentality.


Role Overview

This is not a passive AE role. We’re looking for someone who knows how to build pipeline, create momentum, and close business in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll receive support from SDR-generated leads, but success in this role will also require you to prospect independently, create your own opportunities, and maintain a healthy pipeline.

This role is ideal for someone who has sold SaaS / software / product solutions, thrives in a startup-style environment, and knows how to connect product value to real business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the sales cycle from discovery through close
  • Work a mix of SDR-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong, healthy pipeline through outbound effort and follow-up discipline
  • Conduct discovery calls, product conversations, demos, and commercial discussions
  • Position OrcaWorks around business outcomes, workflow transformation, productivity, and AI-led operational impact
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across business, operations, and technology teams
  • Partner closely with leadership and internal teams to support go-to-market execution
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene, and sales follow-through


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS / software / technology sales
  • Proven ability to close new business
  • Experience selling products or platforms, not just services
  • Comfortable managing both qualified leads and self-generated pipeline
  • Strong prospecting, follow-up, and pipeline management discipline
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating in a startup / build mode environment
  • Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging technology


Preferred Background

  • Experience selling AI products, SaaS, workflow automation, enterprise software, or digital transformation solutions
  • Exposure to mid-market or growth-stage customers
  • Experience in a startup, scale-up, or early-stage growth environment is a plus
