We are seeking a Freight Sales Executive (Junior) to drive pipeline creation and support new business growth through high-activity outbound prospecting and opportunity development.
This role is designed for individuals who want to build a career in logistics sales and develop into a full-cycle revenue owner. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, qualifying shipper needs, and building a strong pipeline that converts into revenue over time.
You will partner closely with senior sales executives while developing the skills required to independently manage and close business across Truckload, LTL, and consolidation solutions.
This is a high-performance, activity-driven role where success is measured by pipeline generation, consistency of effort, and progression into revenue ownership.
What You Will Own
Generate new pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals
Research and identify target shippers, industries, and freight profiles
Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to create new sales conversations
Qualify opportunities by identifying shipping lanes, volumes, service requirements, and pricing potential
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified shipper opportunities
Schedule and support discovery calls and sales meetings
Partner with senior sales executives to advance and close opportunities
Track all outreach activity, pipeline, and opportunity progress within CRM
Develop foundational knowledge of TL, LTL, consolidation, and brokerage solutions
Progress toward owning full sales cycle responsibilities
What Success Looks Like
Consistent outbound activity and pipeline generation within the first 30 days
Creation of qualified opportunities and booked meetings within 60 days
Strong pipeline development and contribution to active freight opportunities within 90 days
Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify real shipper needs
Continuous progression toward independently managing and closing business
