Director, Renewals & Customer Success Operations Location: Houston, TX / Remote (US)

Role Overview

As Director of Renewals and Customer Success Operations, you will lead key operational activities across the Renewals and Customer Success teams, driving annual planning, forecasting, business process optimization, executive reporting, and analytics. You will advise the VP of Customer Success, manage a team of operational leads, and deliver high‑quality business intelligence to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the annual planning cycle and support weekly forecasting.

Drive cross‑functional initiatives and implement operational processes.

Provide executive reporting and analytics to leadership, FP&A, and renewal teams.

Manage and develop a high‑performing team of operational leads.

Ensure renewal operations support revenue growth and customer success.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.

Qualifications

Analytical thinker and creative problem‑solver with strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confident writer and presenter.

Resourceful, collaborative, and proactive – able to turn challenges into solutions.

Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with varied responsibilities.

Inventive and entrepreneurial spirit with initiative.

Prior experience (minimum 6 years) leading renewals or customer success operations.

Prior leadership experience (minimum 6 years) leading a high‑performing team.

Experience in an enterprise software company – deep understanding of B2B SaaS.

Degree in Economics, Finance, or Math; MBA highly desired.

Edge Skills

Deep knowledge of renewal and customer success operations.

Strong operational process knowledge and business acumen.

Strategic thinking in a fast‑moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

U.S. base salary range: $174,150 – $278,640 USD. Compensation includes variable incentive pay, perks (flexible work options), and full benefits (medical and dental insurance).
