
Loan Servicing Analyst - Inspection

About The Role The Inspection Analyst plays a critical role in the servicing of commercial real estate loans by providing detailed analysis of property condition reports, identifying potential risks, and tracking deferred maintenance items. This position supports Portfolio Managers in maintaining the quality and value of our commercial real estate loan portfolios.
What You’ll Do
Thoroughly review property inspection reports, environmental reports, and other inspection documents to identify and assess potential property condition issues and risks.
Analyze inspection reports for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established standards and guidelines.
Summarize and track findings, highlighting significant issues, code violations, and potential liabilities.
Evaluate the impact of identified issues on property value, tenant occupancy, and overall loan performance.
Communicate with portfolio managers, departments, and external parties regarding property condition issues.
What You’ll Need
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
