
Collections Specialist

We are looking for a high-energy B2B Collections Specialist. This is a critical role in our order-to-cash process, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training. If you have a positive attitude, a sharp eye for detail, and a proven track record in business-to-business collections, we want to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
Manage and collect on assigned accounts to achieve monthly and yearly over-60-day goals.
Proactive Resolution:
Identify and resolve billing or reconciliation issues by working closely with internal departments and customer portals.
Strategic Communication:
Act as a liaison between Sales, Billing, and IT to ensure seamless payment processing and account health.
Reporting & Compliance:
Provide accurate weekly and monthly updates on aging reports and credit-hold status.
Problem Solving:
Identify high-risk accounts for escalation and potential 3rd-party collection placement while keeping the sales team informed.
Operational Support:
Process credit card payments, handle incoming AR inquiries, manage Salesforce tickets within SLA, and utilize NetSuite for account management.
What You Bring to the Table Because of recent departmental changes, we are seeking a self-motivated professional who can manage a portfolio of VIP and mid-size accounts immediately, without training.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of dedicated B2B collections and account reconciliation experience.
Systems Expertise:
Proficiency in
NetSuite
is required. Must be comfortable with Excel, Word, and web-based reporting tools.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal skills are a must for negotiating and documenting collection activities.
Mindset:
A positive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
