The Opportunity As a Community Associate, you’ll work closely with new and existing customers across a myriad of industries, creating and maintaining your own community within your center. Your responsibilities include handling administrative and support needs so that customers can focus on running their business.
A Typical Day at IWG You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to ensure everything is ready and check for any overlooked items by the cleaners.
Throughout the morning you handle a variety of customer requests: changing Wi‑Fi codes, locating packages, giving directions, setting up projectors, and confirming that all services are accurately charged for invoicing.
You take occasional coffee breaks, then return to sort mail and follow up with customers, such as emailing a sender to notify the recipient that a package is ready.
In the afternoon you assist with printing, invoice queries, and open service tickets via the portal when a team room is too hot. You again take a brief coffee break before collaborating with the Community Manager.
Together you plan next week’s networking event, write e‑invitations, and create/post posters on noticeboards. A prospective member visits, and you share details about the space, encouraging them to join the network and attend the upcoming event.
At the end of the day you ask the large group in meeting room 3 to wrap up, suggest a nearby restaurant for their break, and ensure the center is tidy before heading home.
About You We’re looking for someone who manages multiple tasks while providing customers with the best possible service. You also need to be:
A good communicator, able to build professional relationships and empathize with people’s needs (ideally 1+ year of customer service experience)
Happy taking ownership of problems and finding solutions
Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable to fast‑changing situations
Experienced and confident using MS Office and basic IT equipment
Legally eligible to work in the country you are applying within and at least 18 years old
What we offer On top of a competitive total compensation package, you’ll enjoy:
Work‑life balance (no standard nights/weekends)
Generous paid time off plans (sick and vacation)
11 paid company holidays per calendar year (in addition to PTO)
Competitive 401(k) program with company match
Affordable and comprehensive health care for all full‑time team members (some options for part‑timers)
A quarterly bonus plan program, plus an hourly rate of $18.36
A bright and inspiring work environment
Training and development opportunities aligned with great career path prospects
A professional workplace community (business casual attire required)
