Church Description:
Christ Central Presbyterian Church (“Christ Central”) is a reformed evangelical church in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a church we exist to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to be a Christ‑centered community and to fulfill the Great Commission in the Bay Area and the world for the glory of God. We are committed as a body of Christ to faithfully praying and studying the Scriptures and living out what we believe by proclaiming the good news. As a Christ‑centered community, we strive to build each other up in faith in order to bear fruit through accountability and fellowship rooted in Christ. We also firmly believe and are committed to church planting in the Bay Area and globally with the goal of leading others to Christ and His transforming power of the gospel. Christ Central has approximately 200 regular attendees on Sundays. Our members and regular attendees consist of married couples, single working adults, college students, youth group students, and children. We are governed by a session of four elders and we adhere to the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Shorter and Larger Catechisms. We are a member church of the North American Presbytery of the Korean American Presbyterian Church denomination. Position Description:
Christ Central Presbyterian Church is seeking a full‑time Youth Pastor with a focus on youth for our church in the San Francisco Bay Area in Daly City. Qualifications include a seminary degree, relevant ministry experience, and an ability to teach reformed theology. Compensation depends on experience. Pastors who will thrive at our church are those who have a strong level of ownership over their ministry and bring innovative ideas. They can work independently and collaboratively with the pastoral team to further those ministries and can communicate short‑term and long‑term plans and visions to the team and their ministry. Qualifications:
Seminary educated and committed to Reformed theology as summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechism Committed to Christ and exhibits an ongoing growth in spiritual maturity and godliness Demonstrated ministry skill and experience Compensation:
Salary will depend on experience Housing stipend Fully paid medical coverage for pastor and family To Apply:
