Assistant Golf Professional
to join our Golf Shop Department!

The
Assistant Golf Professional
will assist with golf‑related activities resulting in an exceptional overall golf experience for members and guests. This position will be tasked with assisting in golf shop operations, club tournaments, club repair, enforcing Club rules, and overall customer service.

$60,000+ commission!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Exhibit the highest level of customer service for our members and guests
Promote the facility programs, events, and image to the membership
Communicate in a professional manner and tone with fellow staff across all departments
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Relay important information to management staff including member/guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct
Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency
Study the tournament/event calendar to be able to promote the events to the membership
Take ownership of your work
Assist in Tournament Operations
Manage the ForeTees Online Tee Time System
Greet members first by name
All other duties as required
Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Computer: Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend correspondence, memos, and effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to employees.
Mathematics: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Other:
Possess strong organizational, written and time management skills.
Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self‑actions.
Must be compliant with and actively support a drug‑free workplace.
Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written.
Education and Experience
Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous Golf Pro Shop or Country Club Experience is a
must .
Must be detail oriented, organized, multi‑task oriented and possess excellent communication skills.
PGA Member or Apprentice Required.
Ladies and Couples golf programming
preferred .
Familiarity with golf tournament software, like Golf Genius,
preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
