Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dealership team. You will be responsible for managing sales activities from greeting customers and understanding their vehicle needs to finalizing transactions and delivering vehicles. If you have strong communication skills, charisma, and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct needs analysis regarding vehicle make, type, and features.
Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation both in the showroom and during test drives.
Research model and option availability using computer databases.
Coordinate with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate pricing, trade-ins, taxes, financing, and lease payments.
Conduct visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
Complete all necessary paperwork and arrange vehicle delivery and registration.
Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their features.
Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
At least one year of related sales experience or equivalent education and training.
Sales skills with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Strong organizational skills and thorough follow-up capabilities.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
