Activity Department Staff
Long-Term Care Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Hours: 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Contract Length: 52 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 0 Requirements
Experience in activity planning and implementation, specifically for a healthcare facility's long-term care and assisted living units. Ability to collaborate with rehabilitation services and other departments. Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and execute activities for residents in long-term care and assisted living settings to enhance their quality of life. Organize off-site trips and community engagement opportunities. Work collaboratively with rehabilitation staff to coordinate activities that support residents' physical and emotional well-being. Foster a supportive and engaging environment for residents, encouraging participation in various programs. Maintain effective communication with families and residents regarding activity schedules and opportunities. Participation in team events and staff appreciation days is expected. Adherence to the facility's policies regarding dress code and conduct during activities.
