Worship & Technology Director
Location: Pointe North Church, Moncks Corner, SC
Key Requirements
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in ministry; master’s degree or higher preferred.
Faith & Alignment:
A vibrant Christian faith and a commitment to becoming an active member of Pointe North Church.
Musical Proficiency:
Strong vocal talent with ability to lead contemporary worship while playing guitar or keys.
Experience:
Proven track record in coordinating and leading contemporary worship teams and vocalists.
Technical Aptitude:
Proficiency with software such as Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, My Sermon Notes, Adobe Creative Suite; hardware experience with digital sound boards.
Availability:
Full-time (40 hours/week), including Sundays, evenings and midweek rehearsals.
Core Responsibilities
Worship Leadership & Development
Service planning with Lead Pastor and Worship Team.
Lead worship approximately 48 weeks per year, blending hymns with contemporary elements.
Instill biblical theology of worship within team and congregation.
Recruit, audition, and train instrumentalists and vocalists across all generations.
Lead consistent midweek rehearsals to ensure musical and spiritual readiness.
Technology & Visual Communications
Schedule and train audio, video, and livestream volunteers.
Manage weekly ProPresenter setups and maintain high‑quality sound for in‑person and online audiences.
Develop sermon series visuals for web, social media, and in‑service use.
Oversee and troubleshoot livestream, podcast, and YouTube channels.
Formulate and manage departmental budget; plan long‑term equipment replacement/upgrade.
Staff & Administrative Duties
Participate in weekly staff meetings; report to Lead Pastor.
Facilitate monthly Worship Team meetings; attend quarterly meetings with Ministers, Elders, and Deacons.
Collaborate on cross‑departmental problems using joint problem‑solving approach.
