
Tax Analyst

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Tax Analyst.
Do you have experience with transaction tax compliance, research, and preparing sales/use, business & occupation, gross receipts, and property tax returns?
As a Tax Analyst, your role is to support the tax team in conducting in-depth analysis of tax-related data, interpret tax laws and regulations, and provide insights and recommendations to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of transaction tax compliance and research
Prepare transaction tax (sales/use, business & occupation, gross receipts, and property tax) returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings
Research transaction tax issues. Interpret and comply with state, local and international statutes, regulations, and legislation
Prepare for, and assist with, transaction tax audits
Prepare and/or review indirect tax filings
Provide guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations
Assist with the reconciliation of transaction tax general ledger accounts
Develop and implement process improvements
Required Skills & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or other four year degree with equivalent accounting experience
Strong computer technical skills - MS Excel
Strong organizational skills and communication skills - both oral and written
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with tax software and ERP systems
Prior experience with multi-state tax compliance
Knowledge of international transaction tax regulations
CPA certification or progress toward certification
Pay Pay:
$52.98 - $75.69/hr.
