Northmarq is seeking an experienced Investment Sales Analyst to support our Multifamily Investment Sales platform. The analyst will be located in our Denver, CO office but will support regional teams across the country.
Immediate in‑office start is required.
Responsibilities
Underwrite income‑producing assets using Excel software, including:
Analyzing historical operating statements, leases, loan and regulatory agreements, as well as current market conditions to determine financial underwriting assumptions. Reviewing, analyzing, abstracting and interpreting various real‑estate documents. Identifying critical property‑level financial issues and recommending value‑add opportunities. Creating property evaluations and sensitivity analyses.
Develop compelling narratives to showcase investment opportunities to industry professionals. Present analysis results to producers with varying financial acumen. Plan, schedule and prioritize workload to efficiently manage daily tasks, including research, financial analysis and underwriting for multiple offices and producers. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of related experience; a financial analysis background is required. Four‑year college degree, preferably in real estate, finance, accounting or business. Strong understanding of finance analytical skills and real‑estate underwriting principles, including DCF, IRR, NPV, time‑value of money and return on equity. Knowledge of Salesforce, ARGUS and InDesign is a plus. Ability to analyze, research and underwrite multiple asset classes of multifamily properties across multiple markets. Resourceful, self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively with internal and external parties. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and work under pressure; aptitude for problem‑solving. Willingness to work extended hours when necessary. Compensation
Salary range: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually, plus annual bonus eligibility and benefits. Benefits
