Associate Sales Representative – Trauma (Wilmington, NC) (Evergreen)

What will you be doing? As a Trauma Associate Sales Representative, you will support the Trauma Sales team within an assigned territory by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining product equipment, setting up demo inventory, and providing customer in‑service. Additional responsibilities may include transporting customer inventory between accounts and covering surgical cases for sales representatives within certain accounts. You will study the technical information and surgical procedures in the Trauma Orthopaedics product portfolio, specializing in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore function quickly and effectively. Your territory will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.
What will you need to be successful? Success in this role relies on strong technical expertise in the Trauma Orthopaedics portfolio, the ability to build positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel, and the capacity to support the Sales Representative in generating revenue and meeting or exceeding the territory’s quota.
What will you need?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of sales experience
Preferred healthcare experience, specifically selling orthopedic products or roles such as EMT, paramedic, surgical technician, sterile processing technician, operating room aide, or athletic trainer
Proven track record of selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level is preferred
Experience leading or mentoring team members
Travel Requirements Travel within the designated sales territory with 2–4 overnight stays per month; infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
