Position Summary Mesa seeks a Senior Substation Physical Designer with 8+ years of design related experience.
Design of physical equipment/systems associated with high/medium/low voltage electrical substations.
Experience with related power or process plant physical design.
Knowledge and skillsets in designing drawings that depict electrical switchgear, transformers, electrical bus work (rigid/flexible), conduit/raceway, grounding, lightning/static protection, etc.
Thorough experience generating physical design drawings such as One Lines, Electrical Arrangements, Conduit/Grounding layouts/detail, Equipment Plans/Elevations and Bills of Material using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
Learning mindset, self‑starter, mentor, and leader.
This position will be hybrid in our Knoxville office. Work will require occasional overnight trips to sites located in Arkansas, Southeast Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
