Position Summary The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for prospective residents and delivering excellent customer service throughout the leasing process. This position supports leasing, administrative tasks, resident relations, and property operations while upholding company standards and ensuring a smooth move‑in and move‑out experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
Conduct and assist with market surveys.
Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
Update unit availability daily and maintain accurate leasing information.
Process rental applications in accordance with company procedures.
Submit and track maintenance requests for residents.
Receive and record collections following company standards.
Provide general clerical, office, and phone support.
Maintain complete and accurate resident files and documentation.
Manage move‑in calendars to ensure appointments are completed and units meet move‑in standards.
Address and help resolve resident concerns; elevate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
Conduct move‑out walks and support the move‑out process.
Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
Occasional climbing may be required.
Must be able to work at a computer and use a phone for extended periods.
Must be able to detect auditory and visual alarms.
Availability to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
Attendance & Schedule
Full‑time position requiring consistent attendance.
May require evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Active participation in company meetings, events, and functions is required.

Qualifications Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to read and write English fluently and perform intermediate math functions
Professional Experience
One year of experience in the service industry preferred (hospitality, retail, customer service, etc.)
Computer Skills
Intermediate computer and internet proficiency
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred experience with: Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check
Learning & Development
Commitment to ongoing professional development through company‑provided training
Ability to effectively utilize all on‑site property management software
