Electrical Mechanic & Junior Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanics and Junior Mechanics who excel in rough-in work, are capable of reading blueprints, and have strong code knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience installing conduit, switchgear, and terminations, as well as running BX and MC cable. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and wiring panels, ensuring high-quality electrical installations. Responsibilities
Perform rough-in work and interpret rough-in prints accurately. Install conduits, switchgear, and terminations efficiently. Run BX and MC cable and perform roughing duties with precision. Troubleshoot and wire panels effectively. Pull MC and BX cable, and install outlets, switches, and devices. Bend and install conduit with accuracy. Conduct splicing of cables and install boxes and panels. Essential Skills
Extensive experience in electrical troubleshooting and rough-in work. Proficiency in pipe bending and conduit installation. Ability to pull MC and BX cable accurately. Skilled in installing outlets, switches, and various devices. Competence in switchgear and service installations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
SST 10-hour certification. OSHA 30 certification. 5+ years of commercial electrical experience for a Junior Mechanic 10+ years of commercial electrical experience for a Mechanic Work Environment
Work on projects starting at 7:00 AM. Employees must sign in and out each day with their foremen. It's mandatory to have all PPE, tools, and required certifications, including SST and OSHA 30, at all times. Candidates will be evaluated on technical ability, attitude, task speed, and confidence to work independently. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
