Strategic Account Executive – Enterprise (NYC Hunter) Location: NYC Metro (Manhattan / Jersey City) – Hybrid Type: Full-Time, Net-New Sales Target Verticals: Financial Services, Fintech, E-commerce, and Media Role Overview Our client is a high-growth cybersecurity platform redefining how enterprises manage application risk in modern development environments. As a Enterprise Account Executive in the NYC metro area, you will focus on penetrating highly strategic accounts within one of the most competitive enterprise markets in the world. This is a pure hunter role, centered on landing net-new logos by engaging senior security and engineering leaders. You will be positioning a platform that helps organizations reduce noise, prioritize real risk, and accelerate secure software delivery. Key Responsibilities Drive Net-New Business: Identify, engage, and close large enterprise accounts across the NYC metro region. Executive-Level Selling: Build relationships with senior stakeholders across security, technology, and engineering functions. Challenge Legacy Approaches: Educate prospects on limitations of traditional application security tooling and introduce a more modern, risk-focused approach. Shape Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate cross-functionally to refine messaging, targeting, and sales plays for complex enterprise environments. What You're Selling Risk-Based Visibility: Helps organizations focus on the most critical security issues, reducing alert fatigue and manual triage. Proactive Security Integration: Enables teams to identify and address risk earlier in the development lifecycle. Automation & Efficiency: Leverages advanced automation to streamline remediation and improve developer productivity. Enterprise-Grade Platform: Designed for scalability, governance, and the needs of highly regulated industries. Requirements 7+ Years of Enterprise Sales Experience: Demonstrated success closing complex six- and seven-figure software deals, particularly within large enterprise environments. Cybersecurity / AppSec Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern software development practices and application security concepts. Established Network: Existing relationships with security, engineering, or technology leaders—especially within financial services or fintech-are highly valuable.
