This is how you'll help us succeed
Drive new business through proactive outbound prospecting, leveraging industry knowledge and advanced consultative selling techniques
Understand compelling outreach angles, mapping ConnexPay’s value to each prospect’s specific business model and payment challenges
Execute multi-step, multi-channel outreach sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn, personalizing messaging to address industry-specific pain points and challenges
Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate prospecting research, personalize outreach at scale, and continuously improve messaging effectiveness
Support cross-functional initiatives including events, webinars, and targeted marketing campaigns, helping drive attendance and qualified engagement
Maintain meticulous and timely records of all prospecting activity, engagement, and insights in CRM (HubSpot), ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
Bring a daily drive to exceed performance targets for meetings booked, qualified pipeline generated, and other key metrics
Applicants for this role will have:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
1+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative or similar sales role
Experience in B2B SaaS, payments, or fintech industries preferred
Proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot experience is a plus) and sales research tools such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Knowledge of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar LLM tools for work; experience using connected integrations and prompt-based workflows is a plus
Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding KPIs
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a technical product and apply that knowledge across multiple industries, tailoring value propositions to distinct buyer personas and vertical-specific use cases
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
