About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the chief executive, Board Secretary, and senior fiduciary for the administration of a single employer defined benefit pension plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent benefit administration, strong governance, and policy execution, as well as disciplined investment oversight. This role involves leading a skilled team, cultivating an ethical, high-performance culture, and representing the Trust with credibility and transparency to members, the community, and the City.
The ideal Executive Director will have a proven track record in a similar leadership position, with a deep understanding of pension fund management and a commitment to the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Board of Trustees to set and execute the strategic vision for the Trust, overseeing the day-to-day operations, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The role requires a leader who can navigate complex regulatory environments, ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and make sound investment decisions to safeguard the financial security of the Trust's members.
