Approximately 70% of the role will be focused on fundraising and revenue generation, while the remaining 30% will involve managing organizational operations, including team management, stakeholder relations, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include providing leadership and strategic vision in partnership with the Board of Directors, maintaining robust communication with the Board, and overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies. The role also involves working with the Board, faculty, and clinical leadership to ensure that the organization's research and education programs are effectively supported and managed. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, a strong understanding of research-driven nonprofits, and experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams. High integrity, transparent leadership, and a commitment to ethical stewardship, accountability, diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to build and maintain strategic partnerships, represent the organization at various events, and lead outreach efforts to expand access to pediatric hearing health.
