Director of Health & Wellness

The Penobscot Bay YMCA is seeking a dynamic, people-centered leader to guide and grow our Health & Wellness programs across our Rockport and Rockland branches. What You’ll Do

Lead and grow health & wellness programs for all ages and abilities Supervise, support, and inspire instructors, trainers, and volunteers Lead from the floor by teaching group fitness classes and/or providing personal training as needed Ensure safe, welcoming, and well-maintained wellness spaces and equipment Oversee scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and program registration (Daxko) Monitor participation and evolve programming based on member feedback and community needs Serve as a key point of contact for the Rockland Harbor branch Support YMCA events and community engagement initiatives Collaborate across departments to deliver a consistent, mission-driven member experience
