
Construction Estimator

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates and bids for construction projects, reviewing plans and specifications, and analyzing project costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience with cost estimating software. Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Research and analyze data such as vendors' prices, labor costs, and construction methods.
Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Analyze financial data to determine present and future project performance.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent experience (2-5 years) in Construction Management or related field of study
Prior civil site project experience such as utilities, concrete, roadways, and mass excavation experience are a plus
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in B2W software
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Efficient organization and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
