Dedicated Corporate Travel Consultant

About the Opportunity This role will have you arranging domestic and complex international travel for busy executives including air, car, hotel and ground transportation. You will participate in three weeks of paid training before starting. The program will boost your knowledge, train you on contract airfares and sharpen your Sabre skills. Our corporate travel consultants handle air, car, rail and ground transportation bookings as well as ticketing, changes, exchanges and queue management. You will also need to offer exceptional customer service to satisfy our business traveler\'s needs. We encourage our Corporate Travel Consultants to study the travel policies of our corporate accounts and develop a relationship with them so that when our valued business travelers have travel needs, they are in the hands of a dedicated team of Corporate Travel professionals they trust and are on a first-name basis with.
Our business hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM MST, Monday - Friday. A typical schedule will include a 40-hour work week with five 8-hour shifts. This role is ideal for candidates located on the West Coast or in the Midwest, or those willing to work until 7:00 PM MST.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate air, hotel, car, and ground transportation bookings for domestic and international travel
Build rapport and develop a relationship with business travelers to ensure their travel needs are in the hands of a trusted team
Ensure accurate and timely completion of reservations while meeting travelers\' needs
Execute all responsibilities within company guidelines for customer service, PNRS/documentation and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, and maintaining accuracy
Stay fully informed about airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and apply this knowledge to travel arrangements
Deliver consultative support and exceptional customer service throughout the booking process
Keep clients informed about travel documents and health requirements for destinations
Proficiently handle ticketing, Phase IVs, and exchanges involving complex international fares
Manage rerouting and exchange processes to minimize disruption to travel plans
Experience & Qualifications
2+ years of recent experience in corporate travel management
In-depth familiarity with Sabre GDS for fare calculations, itinerary management, and ticket issuance
Exposure to quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance of travel bookings
Proficiency in ticketing procedures and scripting, with the ability to handle complex itinerary changes and exchanges
Ability to navigate complex itineraries, international fares, and PNRs to meet client requirements
Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
Ability to manage multiple urgent tasks while maintaining efficiency and quality
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve travel-related issues promptly
Excellent communication to keep clients informed and reassured
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
Comfortable using travel booking systems and various communication tools
Technical aptitude to troubleshoot and adapt to new technologies
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Work Environment & Compensation Location: Denver, Colorado
Pay: We anticipate offering an hourly pay rate of $28.85. Rate is dependent on experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
