Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic primary educator who is passionate about literacy and professional growth. This dynamic hybrid role blends educational expertise with relationship-building and outreach. You will collaborate closely with district leaders, administrators, teachers, and school teams—delivering meaningful professional development, presenting high-quality resources, and supporting successful implementation that leads to measurable literacy gains. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator ready to extend their impact beyond the classroom while remaining deeply connected to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with schools, districts, and intervention programs. Deliver engaging, high-quality professional development aligned to the Science of Reading. Present and demonstrate supplemental literacy resources to educators and decision-makers. Partner with administrators and teachers to ensure effective implementation of all resources. Support outreach and growth efforts through digital, phone, and in-person communication. Schedule and conduct presentations for prospective school and district partners. Travel to district offices and school sites (occasional overnight travel required). Represent the organization at 1–3 educational conferences annually.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s degree preferred). Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Minimum of three years of primary-level classroom teaching experience. Strong knowledge of the Science of Reading and literacy best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Professional, positive, and outgoing demeanor with a strong work ethic. Experience in professional development and/or educational sales is a plus.
