Strategic Investor Communications Lead The Strategic Investor Communications Lead serves as a strategic team member reflecting the voice of the company to the investment community. You will report to the Executive Director of Investor Relations. This role will collaborate with the IR, Communications, and Finance teams to help to craft and deliver a compelling investment narrative that communicates the company's strategic vision, financial performance and market positioning, leveraging a tenured track record. The team member will provide insights into markets, analyst and investor perspectives, and support messaging that informs executive decision-making. Success in this position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional writing and communication skills, strategic conceptualization, deep financial acumen, and a proven track record of building relationships with investors and analysts. The role requires a high energy, adaptive team member, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and naturally connects dots. Responsibilities Investor Communication & Storytelling
Develop clear, engaging narratives that articulate the company's strategy, growth drivers, and competitive advantages.
Translate and communicate complex financial and operational data into compelling stories that build confidence and trust among stakeholders.
Create investor presentations, earnings scripts, Q&A, press releases, investor infographics, and other disclosure documents, that reflect the company's strategic priorities and brand, with output that requires little editing.
Lead project management for Investor Day and conference events, helping to drive the development of strategic messaging, content, and logistics.
Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Marketing teams to maintain consistency in messaging across all channels.
Lead Communications pack used for quarterly earnings process.
Investor Engagement
Contribute to ongoing thoughtful dialogue with institutional investors and analysts.
Organize and periodically attend investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and tradeshows.
Strategic Planning & Market Insight
Monitor industry trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to inform messaging and strategic decisions.
Proactively conduct competitive diligence and work with competitive intelligence team to enhance investor messaging.
Leverage AI tools for data aggregation, market/peer analysis, earnings messaging, and analyst report summaries, as well as investor targeting to identify prospective institutional investors.
Other
Ownership of IR marketing plan, including annual IR calendar of events.
Contribute to development of reporting to management and Board of Directors.
Contribute to the development of the IR website to keep it current and informative for investors and other stakeholders.
Work on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as requested, contributing to the continuous improvement of IR processes and outcomes.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
10+ years in investor relations or corporate finance at a U.S. publicly listed company, or at an equity research firm. Experience at a healthcare and/or a Fortune 500 company is strongly preferred.
Strong ability to craft narratives that connect strategy, performance, and brand identity. Strong writing skills are required.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, AI tools and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with strong output.
