They seek a Regional Vice President of Account Management to serve as the strategic leader for a dedicated portfolio of K-12 school districts. The RVP is accountable for driving measurable renewal outcomes, ensuring long-term partnership health, and achieving best-in-class gross and net revenue retention.
Major Responsibilities Renewal Ownership: Own and execute renewal strategy across the full district portfolio, with primary accountability for Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets. Drive on-time renewals and proactively mitigate churn risk. Risk Management: Identify early warning signs of at-risk accounts throughout the customer lifecycle and intervene strategically to protect retention. Executive Relationship Management: Build and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with Superintendents, CAOs, and School Board members to ensure deep institutional buy-in and contract continuity. Value Demonstration: Consistently demonstrate ROI to district stakeholders through Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and strategic check-ins, reinforcing the case for renewal. Expansion: Identify and qualify upsell and expansion opportunities within the existing customer base in partnership with the regional team. Team Leadership: Lead a team of account managers, setting clear renewal goals, facilitating collaborative planning, and removing obstacles to retention. Voice of the Customer: Synthesize district feedback on product, services, and strategy to inform internal teams and improve retention outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years in account management or customer success. Proven track record managing and growing a multi-million-dollar renewal book in a SaaS environment. Deep understanding of K-12 funding cycles and decision-making processes. Exceptional executive presence; comfortable presenting to C-suite audiences. Experience leading and developing account management teams. Regional educator network at the leadership level. 50% travel; must reside in territory.
