Senior Manager Business Performance Strategy Lead (BPSL) US

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive Business Performance Strategy for Amgen’s Supply Chain OTC organization. What You Will Do

The Sr. Manager will lead regional OTC activities, manage a team of direct reports, partner with finance, treasury, supply chain, commercial operations, and Amgen Medical Information to drive business initiatives, increase efficiency, and ensure scalability. Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence efforts to build scalable business processes. Partner with stakeholders across the Americas Business Customers to drive adoption, utilization, proficiency and simplification. Demonstrate customer/digital centric leadership to create a culture of service excellence. Leverage analytics and reporting to monitor performance, identify trends, and support data‑based decisions. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define strategies and processes for current and future trade channel growth. Provide regular reports and data‑driven recommendations to improve customer experience. Support digital platforms such as SAP, Salesforce Service Cloud/eCommerce, Celonis, UiPath, IRT, and CTMS. Communicate strategic priorities and diagnose tactical problems. Oversee OTC activities: order management, product distribution complaints, dispute resolution, customer inquiries. Address customer pain points in self‑service and partner with product, journey, and service teams. Ensure compliance with policies (SOX, Quota, Quarter‑end management). Prepare and review analytics for operational plan visibility. Lead change management activities for critical initiatives. Work with leaders to define success metrics and track progress. Build and grow a successful GCX‑OTC workforce; coach and develop team leads and members. Promote Amgen Values and GCX‑OTC culture. Manage performance, change, and stakeholder expectations in a fast‑paced environment. Align cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams with supply chain strategy and future technology roadmap. Stay updated on industry trends and bring innovative solutions (AI, cloud, blockchain). Lead initiatives to craft functional and customer experience strategies. Develop action plans and enhancement recommendations. Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience, OR Master’s degree and 6 years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience, OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience. Minimum 2 years of direct people management or leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications

BS/MS with 7+ years in a large service‑oriented operation focused on customer success and revenue growth. 5+ years with SAP Order to Cash processes (sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing). 3+ years responsible for full lifecycle SAP O2C implementations, including design and configuration. Knowledge of 852/867 data, returns and channel dynamics for US market. Experience supervising global/regional cross‑functional teams. Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
