The Banyan at Montclair is seeking a compassionate, creative, and organized Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs for our residents. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life through meaningful social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activities program for residents.
Organize daily, weekly, and monthly activities, including group and one‑on‑one programs.
Coordinate special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
Assess residents’ interests and needs to create individualized activity plans.
Maintain activity calendars and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans.
Supervise activity staff and volunteers as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or long‑term care setting.
Activities Director Certification (ADC) or eligibility preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compassionate, energetic, and resident‑focused approach.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long‑term care activities programs.
