Field Superintendent

The Field Superintendent provides leadership and direction in the field by leading smaller projects and/or working with Superintendents on larger projects. This position strives for continuous improvement in their areas of responsibility through teamwork, sharing personal knowledge and experience, and personal growth through active learning.

Plan & establish flow of work activities on the project. Coordinate all field activities.
Plan & set up an efficient jobsite layout.
Direct or aid in development of an overall project schedule.
Maintain a clean, orderly jobsite, utilizing 5s.
Uphold OSHA regulations and R&M Safety Program.
Maintain daily logs to document all jobsite activities & events.
Implement & maintain quality control & life safety checkout procedures.
Lead in accordance with R&M policies and procedures and priorities within project contract.
Maintain client and designer relations.
Maintain a working relationship with project development team.
Address job obstacles that are discussed in scheduling meetings.
Ensure project is progressing in accordance with overall schedule and contract time requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM (Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)
8-10 years of related experience, education and/or training, specifically with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare construction experience.
Knowledge of industry safety procedures and OSHA regulations. OSHA 30 Hour certification, preferred.
Competent in all aspects of building layout, e.g., site, structure, partitions, etc.
