We are seeking a detail-oriented Strategic Quoting Specialist to support new and existing business by managing the end-to-end material quoting process. This role prepares and analyzes material costs to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely customer quotes in a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, send, and track material quote requests to meet deadlines Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine inventory availability or new sourcing needs Work directly with suppliers to obtain and clarify quotes Analyze pricing, compare supplier quotes, and identify cost-saving opportunities Track and expedite outstanding or delayed quotations Collaborate with Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Engineering teams on supplier and cost strategies Identify alternate components for obsolete or long lead-time parts Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret BOMs and mechanical drawings Strong analytical and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience preferred, or Associate's degree with 35 years of relevant experience Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and mechanical assemblies preferred Why You'll Love Working Here
